Acupuncture

  • Duration: 60 minutes

  • Fee: $150

  • Private Health Rebates: Available on-the-spot via HICAPS

Acupuncture supports physical recovery, pain management, emotional & low-energy issues. We process private health fund claims at the time of payment through our in-clinic HICAPS terminal. Your final out-of-pocket expense will depend on your specific health fund and level of cover.

Psychotherapy & Counselling

  • Duration: 60 minutes

  • Fee: $200

  • Format: In-Person & Telehealth

  • Referrals: No GP referral or Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) required

We offer direct, confidential psychotherapy and counselling tailored to your mental health goals.

  • A Note on Medicare rebates: In Australia, mental health Medicare rebates are restricted to psychologists operating under a GP Mental Health Care Plan. While this policy prevents you from using your Medicare rebates at our psychotherapy & counselling sessions, it also means you do not need a GP referral or MHCP to see us. You can book directly, maintain full privacy, and begin support immediately without waiting for administrative approvals.

Fees & Health Rebates

  • Bring your digital or physical private health fund card to your appointment. We swipe or tap it through our HICAPS terminal at checkout, so you only pay the remaining gap fee

  • No. Current government funding limits Medicare rebates for mental health services to psychologists under a GP-issued Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP). We believe this system creates unfair financial barriers and limits your right to choose the practitioner that best aligns with your needs. Because psychotherapy operates independently of this system, Medicare rebates are not applicable

    However, the benefit for you is complete flexibility: no GP referral or MHCP is required, allowing you to access direct, confidential support whenever you are ready, without clinical or administrative delays

  • Not at all. You can self-refer and book online immediately without visiting a GP first.

FAQs

  • To secure your booking online, card details are required and are stored securely on your private file. You will not be charged today, but fees do apply for late cancellations as per our terms & conditions (full details provided in the online booking process below)

  • If this is your first booking online, you will need to fill our intake form with details such as your firstname, lastname, DOB, email, mobile number, gender, and emergency contact details; these are compulsory questions for your medical record according to best practice guidelines in Australia. If you have previously accessed our online portal, you may login directly and you will not need to re-enter details each time.

  • Services offered are Psychotherapy (video-telehealth or face-to-face) and Acupuncture (face-to-face)

  • If you are a new participant of our services or started 2026 onwards, please click “Standard consultation”. If you are an existing participant who started with us before 2026, please choose the option “started before 2026”
